Our community is known, and loved, for its vibrant personality and fighting spirit. We're proud of our history and our many achievements. It's hardly surprising that nearly everyone has a favorite meeting place in town for socializing with friends. Organizations like the Kiwanis, the Royal Canadian Legion, Guides and Scouts, Rotary and Lion's Clubs are very popular, as is the seniors' based 50 + Club at the Edward's Senior Citizens Centre on Edward's Place or the Friendly Fifty Plus Club on 50 Main Street. There are also countless recreational and sports clubs, of course, offering recreational hockey for all age groups, softball, bowling, tennis, curling, the martial arts, and many more activities.
