The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor has a number of Childcare options for families. Somebody looking for childcare can choose one of the following options:

 

Find a babysitter privately and pay them

Place your child(ren) in a Licensed Child Care Provider Home

Place your child(ren) in a Licensed Childcare Facility

Use the childcare centers offered at the place of study or workplace

There are advantages and disadvantages to choosing any of the above for your children; however, there are many issues to consider when making your final childcare decision.

Multicultural Events and Activities 

 

There is a Multicultural Group in Grand Falls-Windsor that has been active on and off since 1991. This Group has a high interest in getting to know immigrants and their culture while providing them with the opportunity to display their pride and joy in all facets of their culture, especially ethnic art, cuisine and dress. The Committee celebrated its first Multicultural Night on December 6, 1991 at the Lion’s Hall, Main Street and continued to hold activities and events throughout the year.
